Social Saturdays – Making Memories at the Movies

Making Memories at the Movies: Presented by Marcy Rhodes, LMSW.
Saturdays at 1pm: 1/19, 2/16, 3/16.
Hosted at the Long Island Alzheimer’s and Dementia Center.
Admission: $5 per person. Caregiver required to attend.
A unique program designed for people living with memory loss and their care partners. Individuals of all ages enjoy clips of classic films and television programs followed by guided conversation and reminiscence. Recognizing that movies have the power to spark memories and create emotional connections, Making Memories at the Movies presents an opportunity to engage in discussion while socializing with others in a familiar community setting.
