Rehearsals will be held at the Long Island Alzheimer’s and Dementia Center.
Registration Fee: $25 (Includes one diagnosed individual and one caregiver)
Audience – Participants and Caregivers.
Beginning in Fall of 2018, Long Island Alzheimer’s and Dementia Center will offer a year-round Chorus program for individuals diagnosed with the earliest stages of Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia and caregivers.The mission of Long Island Alzheimer’s and Dementia Center’s chorus program is to bring together diagnosed individuals and their caregivers for a shared purpose. Chorus members will work with a skilled conductor and accompanist to learn a repertoire of music. Each session will close with a performance for family and friends. No auditions are required.
