Caregiver Services

Caregiver Social Series:
Caregiver Social Series Program offers caregivers a welcoming space to connect outside of traditional support group settings. Through meaningful and enjoyable activities—such as art, horticultural therapy, yoga, baking, and other engaging events—participants can relax, build relationships, and support one another in a natural, social environment. The program is designed to foster community, reduce isolation, and give caregivers dedicated time for themselves while forming lasting connections with others who understand their journey.

Transitions Program:
Transitions is a supportive social program for bereaved caregivers who have lost a loved one to Alzheimer’s or dementia, whether or not they previously had a connection to our center. Through meaningful art activities, gentle physical movement, games, and other engaging experiences, participants are given a space to connect, reflect, and heal alongside others who share a similar journey. This program was created to ensure families remain connected to LIAD and to one another, offering continued support, understanding, and community during a time of change.
