March 26, 2017, Westbury, N.Y. – The Long Island Alzheimer's and Dementia Center will host their Women’s Luncheon and Fashion Show on Friday, April 20. The annual event not only raises awareness and funding for Long Island Alzheimer's and Dementia Center’s cutting-edge programs, but also recognizes women caregivers, as well as those suffering with Alzheimer’s disease.
Guests will be welcomed at the North Hempstead Country Club in Port Washington, where from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., they will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, lunch and the latest fashions presented by Fox’s. Fashion-savvy vendors offering jewelry, fragrance and accessories will be on hand, along with an exciting selection of raffle items, including six exquisite grand raffles.
Long Island Alzheimer's and Dementia Center is pleased to announce that Rachel Dombrowsky, an innovator in the world of senior care for over 40 years, is this year’s honoree. Ms. Dombrowsky has spent 22 of those years spent as owner and operator of Oyster Bay Senior Campus, which includes Harbor House (assisted living for the memory impaired); Oyster Bay Manor (assisted living); and Brookville Home Care Agency.
Long Island Alzheimer's and Dementia Center’s Women’s Luncheon is a consistently popular event. Over 150 guests attended last year, and with tickets already going fast, attendance is expected to be even higher this year. To date, Harbor House and P & P Medicaid (Runway Sponsors) have pledged their support.
