It’s time for our annual Women’s Luncheon and Fashion Show! Once again, we will enjoy a fun afternoon celebrating women while raising awareness about Alzheimer’s Disease and other related dementias, and how it disproportionately affects women.
We are proud to be celebrating over 30 years of providing hands on, individualized care through our cutting-edge programs and services. Our services are tailored to each participant’s stage in the disease process and have helped over 2,000 families on Long Island. We believe that there is “life worth living” after diagnosis. The need for the LIAD Center’s programs and services continues to grow. It’s projected that by 2050, the number of people 65 and older diagnosed with Alzheimer’s may nearly triple to 16 million. Until there is a cure, the LIAD Center is here, every step of the way, to provide much-needed support and comfort to families dealing with this devastating disease.
We encourage you to review the many sponsorship opportunities that are available. Thank you for your support in helping us continue our mission.

ShaVi Lewis, founded in 2002, is a limited luxury brand with a strong focus on Women’s Cocktail and Evening attire. ShaVi’s talent began at the age of seven years old as he assisted his Grandmother, while she created garments for her clients. Later, she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
ShaVi attended New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology’s Summer Live Program for High school Students. After completing the annual program and excelling at draping, pattern-making and sewing, he attended Clark Atlanta University in Georgia, where he continued to develop his craft and style. There, he was the only Freshman student asked to present in the Annual Student Spring Fashion Show and each following until his departure in 2007.
In 2011, ShaVi was the featured designer for Sephora’s “Fashion’s Night Out” Event, and in February of 2012 Lewis debuted a preview collection to an intimate audience of fashion insiders and bloggers during New York Fashion Week. After receiving stellar reviews, ShaVi’s fashions have been seen on Emmy Red Carpets, on celebrities such as Samantha Harris (Entertainment Tonight) and Cynthia Bailey (Model), at the Raw Artists NYC "Discovery" Showcase, the Bermuda Fashion Festival and many other showcase platforms.
ShaVi Lewis has a strong vision to make women feel and look sexy, confident and sophisticated and is currently preparing for a full brand launch with his debut collection in 2020.
